Information collected through the enquiry form
The form asks for your name, company, email address, telephone number and project details. Optional fields may include product, target output and film information. The web server may also record the page used, submission time, IP address and user agent for security and troubleshooting.
Why the information is used
Information is used to respond to enquiries, assess machinery requirements, prepare proposals, maintain business records, prevent abuse and protect the website. Where an enquiry progresses, further processing may be needed to take steps towards a contract or to perform one.
Sharing and service providers
Information may be shared with staff, technical partners or suppliers where necessary to assess or deliver the requested project. It may also be processed by hosting, email and IT providers acting on Lancing’s behalf. Information is not sold.
Third-party media
Some images are delivered from Lancing-related domains. When your browser requests those remote images, the relevant provider can receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and requested page. The homepage flow-wrapper video is supplied as a local website file and does not use a third-party video player.
Retention
Enquiry records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for the sales, project, legal and security purposes for which they were collected. Retention can vary where a quotation, contract, warranty or dispute is involved.
